Most civil disputes can be resolved without an actual lawsuit. Civil lawsuits are often resolved before going to trial. There are a variety of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes to help people resolve disputes without a trial. An ADR process is usually less formal, less expensive, and less time-consuming than a trial.
An ADR process brings in an independent third person, called a “neutral” who analyzes the situation to help resolve or narrow the areas of conflict. A great majority of the civil cases, including marital dissolutions (divorces), filed in Minnesota state courts are settled by using ADR.
At Bloomgren Hanson Legal, we encourage the use of ADR processes during all stages of a case. We believe this is an efficient, cost-effective way to resolve disputes and results in greater client satisfaction. In addition to participation in mediation and early neutral evaluation (SENE and FENE) as legal counsel for our clients, we also provide services as mediators and evaluators.
At Bloomgren Hanson, Amanda Bloomgren is a trained Mediator and Evaluator in both SENE and FENE
